  The Victorian Bridge Association is the State Body responsible for:
  - promoting the game of bridge throughout Victoria
  - Fostering interest in the game
  - Organising and conducting championship and other tournaments
  - Cooperating with the Australian Bridge Federation and other bridge Associations to achieve national agreement in matters of laws, regulations, ethics, and procedures
  - Assisting players and clubs within Victoria through rulings and advice on bridge laws, regulations, ethics, and procedures
