On Thursday May 5, Nagambie Bridge Club participated in the 2016 "Bridge for Brain Research Challenge". A total of 116 bridge clubs all around Australia participated in this annual event; with NBC being one of 20 Victorian Clubs.

Notwithstanding how young the club is, NBC managed to raise $202.00 towards crucial funds required by Neuroscience Resarch Australia in their efforts to prevent, treat and cure brain and nervous system diseases, disorders and injuries through medical research.

With more than 67,000 Australians being diagnosed with some form of dementia over the next 12 months (i.e. more than 1,300 people every week!), supporting medical research has never been more important and NBC is proud to be associated with this worthy purpose.
